Today the chair and vice president of UU, Þorgerður María Þorbjarnardóttir and Tinna Hallgrímsdóttir, went to the prime minister's office and had a meeting with Katrín Jakobsdóttir, the Prime minister of Iceland.
They discussed Iceland's action in climate matters and the Icelandic Youth Environmentalist Association's (UU) demands and points of view regarding climate change. We also presented the association, its activities and youth's response to the climate crisis. This was a good meeting and we will continue the conversation with ministers and MPs on climate change.
